Get notified when your friend’s near you? As a mobile community where people have conversation based on place, it will be a great feature ‘coz it gives you more chances to meetup with your friends whom located near you.
Koprol recently rolls out Ping. This feature basically notifies us about some instance. For now on, you will be notified if there’s another user check-in nearby, and its notification will be sent to your email. This feature may be integrated with the mobile apps in the near future. So instead of email, there will be pop up alert.

Then, how do you set this up? First, go to your friends list page or search your friend using the searchbox, then tick the ping option on each of your friends to activate this feature. All of your friends are unticked by default. You can only tick the ping option for users whom you follow. Thats all.
Now, everytime your-ping-ticked-friends check-in nearby, you will get the notification.
